Process: ninja turtle

So, this is where the turtle pose originates. I used this kung fu pose, found on the internet, as reference...

free hand sketch of turtle doing similar pose...
I then erase all the lines and ink the character...
minimal hard lines in character. let color create depth and shapes

A little reading for the snowed in...Spray Can Art

SprayCan Art. Queens. Page 40. Bet you didn't know I did that Public Animals piece. Abby told us that Henry Chalfant was putting out another graffiti book, like Subway Art, but about graffiti on walls. He wanted to have work from every borough. She coordinated his coming out to take pictures.

Cer did the Junkwaffle and helped fill-in.

A second wall was done, Urban Jungle, Henry took flicks but never put them in the book.

And another time, Henry came out to Hollis with T-Kid and took pictures of this underpass (both sides were done top to bottom) that was done for the neighborhood. PW and Sloan helped out.

Yo...can you tell I'm bored? I need some warm weather in my life so I can paint...haha..oh Cali in a few weeks. hmmm

TC5 Blackbook session

Here goes another one of those unforgettable nights with the crew discussing the past and building on the future. There was so much style in my house that for a second the lights started to flicker. Haha... The original SeenTNT, DocTC5, DashFC, DontayTC5, SyeTC5, TotemTC5, AevonTC5, YZ, Phade (Shirt Kings), and my self. We need to do this more for sure.
